ABOUT VKAE
VKAE was formed by a group of anglers wanting to provide an opportunity for multi species competition fishing. We host several tournaments each year, all while building camaraderie and friendship with members of our community. VKAE is an advocate for outdoor preservation and conservation efforts, as well as veteran and first responder organizations in our reach. VKAE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
VKAE TOURNAMENTS
VKAE tournaments are only accessible to active VKAE Club members.
VKAE club membership and tournament events are managed through the Fishing Chaos App. Join VKAE and gain access to our annual tournament trail series and other exciting fishing adventures we come up with!

CAN I JOIN AND FOLLOW THE CLUB’S FACEBOOK PAGE IF I AM NOT A PAID CLUB MEMBER?
Yes. We encourage anyone interested in fishing, outdoors, kayaking, or just want to be associated with like minded people to join and follow our social media platforms!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A MEMBER SO I CAN COMPETE ?
VKAE organizes and operates tournaments on a “Members Only” basis. In order to compete in tournaments, anglers must be a paid club member. Club membership fees are paid annually. Cost to become a VKAE Club member is $30. Club fees for youth anglers (under 18) are waived.
DOES VKAE USE A TOURNAMENT FISHING APP?
Yes. VKAE uses the “Fishing Chaos” app to host tournaments. The VKAE Team have been competing in catch-photo-release (CPR) kayak tournaments for several years and have found through this experience that Fishing Chaos provides the best service for this format of fishing tournaments. Fishing Chaos is also used to manage our club fees and tournament payouts (winnings).
